A new LinkUp tool widget makes your “Inlinkz” life much easier.
When you go to get the script for your linkup, you will notice that the page has changed a bit….for the better!!
It is now easier to select the type of code you need, based on your blog/website type.
Moreover, InLinkz will now remember your last selection and will give you the same type of code each time you go to the get-script page.
Just follow the steps as shown in the image above:
-
Choose the type of your blog.
-
Choose the widget you want.
-
Grab the code.
-
Share it with your followers.
Less time to think about what you need!
More time to party!!!
Hi! My link-up today had to use the new method, which is fine, except….. it’s forced all the link-ups into a single column, which is unwieldly at my blog. How do I get it to go back to a 3-column presentation?
You can always replace the new widget code with the old one (no links will be harmed in the process).
Most probaby you see only one column because you see the blog through an old version of Internet Explorer.
In general, the code is only a placeholder to where the links will be rendered so do not worry about damaging your linkup. You can always play around with the code.
Is this link up possible with wordpress selfhosted?
Yes it is.
When I generate the script and copy it over to my Blogger site (in html mode), it doesn’t display the button that guests would select to add their link. I can’t figure out what’s wrong?
Have you checked the start, vote and end dates ? The button will appear only when the linkup opens.
If you still have trouble please open a ticket at support.inlinkz.com
Is there any way I can get rid of the Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter options on each post that is linked up on my linky party?
Thanks!
Hi Stephanie,
you can use the old widget code instead. It does not provide any sharing method so the icons will not appear
