Mark your favorite products and links to easily add them to your project manager lists

Most probably you have a list of favorite products  you use over and over again on each list for each of your projects. And some products are needed each and every time. Glue for example is one of the most frequently used product links in the whole InLinkz project manager universe!.

So, how do you create such a list which you can quickly reference and add those precious links quickly without searching for each individual link all over again, each and every time you create a product list ?

Easy!! Just use tags!

Marking your links with a tag (eg “Favorites”) will make it dead easy to fetch all your favorites in one click and then add those you need with just double clicking on them.

You can also create more than one tag for each link. For example, create a “card favorites” and a “scrapbooking favorites”. Picking the respective tag, will only bring the tagged products up, easing the list creation process.

Let’s explore the process:

To create tags in general, you need to click on the manage tags link at the top right:

Just add a name, a description and click add. The tag will be added to your list:

Then, once you have a couple of them added, you can add tags to your links from here:

and then, on the edit link popup click on insert tag:

This will produce a pop up from which you can select which tags to add to the link (you can select more than one)

Then, just save the link with “Accept” and you are all set!

Now let’s use the tag search to bring those tagged links back!

When searching for products, you can click on the tags field in the search area:

and then, check all the tags you want to bring the links for.

Click OK and then click on “Search”. The tagged links will appear. You can just double click them to add them to your product list.

If you just want to remove the tag from the search box, either click the “x” on its side or click on “Clear search”.
